Engine Pictures

These are just a few pictures from my Engine Collection of over 50 years. These are not the engines in my regular flying planes.  You can see those engines at the "Airplanes" page. These are display engines (most good running engines though) that I've accumulated down through the years I've been in the hobby.  Maybe you can recognize some of the old ones from your earlier years!

A vintage McCoy .29 like the second engine I ever owned as a kid.  My first one was a Jim Walker .049!

Another McCoy .29 U-Control Stunt Engine

A Nice Pair of Fox "Rocket .09's"

Just a few from the "Cox Collection".  You will notice a Black Widow, a Golden Bee, a Baby Bee, (all .049) and a little "Pee Wee .020 just to name a few)

A very clean little K&B "Green Head" Torpedo .09

Enya Collection....  .09, .15, and .19

HB Collection... .61 and its little brother .15 ... Nice!

My "Powerhouse" Supertigre .75 I used on the now defunct Super Hots.  A new Super Hots is in the plans for it.

A K & B .40 in great condition.
and an older K&B .15

These are my "Pride and Joy" Collection.  Three Johnson .35's.  Left to right, a "CS" Combat Special, an "SS" Stunt Supreme, and a standard .35 Sport.  IMHO, the best engines and easiest starting ever built (especially in the middle of a hot combat round)!

A couple of several old McCoy "Redhead" .35 engines I have in my "arsenal"

A couple of little "Wen-Mac .049 engines

A brand new never run, vintage Dooling .29 Speed Engine originally purchased in 1960 when my dad owned the only hobby shop in the area

Like Oldies?  Here's another.  This is an old Super Cyclone .60 Ignition engine I'm in the process of putting a new set of points on in preparation for some SAM and VR/CS events later in the year.  Originally used on the Super Buccaneer.

Just a few of the Fox .35 engines in my collection

A Norvel NIB "Big Mig" .061 RC slated for a project later in this year.

The O.S. FP 40 Stunt for the Don Still "Stuka"

A couple of unused recent vintage .40 size engines found lurking in the engine box. One O.S. and one Supertigre

Finally, the "Monster Motor".  The gigantic Supertigre G4500 swinging a 22 X 10 Zinger prop.  This one replaced the Quadra Q-35 in the Big Bird in the shop, which was just a little too small for the plane.

You won't see one of these every day!!
The now Rare O.S. Wankel Engine NIB

NOTE: I saw an ad recently for a new version.  Looks like they are going to do it again!
